OVERVIEW

Apart from watching different kinds of wild animals Bandhavgarh National Park is featured with thousands of bird species that lets you an opportunity for bird watching in the lap of famous Vindhya hills. There are 250 different bird species belonging to 53 different families, among them 138 are resident and rests of them are migrants. This birding tour is very much popular among bird watchers as they get a chance to see some of the rare species of birds in the world like steppe eagles, green pigeons, white bellied drongos, grey Malabar hornbills, white browed fantails, black and white Malabar hornbills, parakeets, green bee eaters, owls, lovely paradise flycatchers and many others. Watching birds in their natural habitats appeal to our sense of aesthetics. Their complex behavior is fascinating and their chirping is very pleasing to the ear.

Itinerary:-

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi - Delhi Tourism

Arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel. You will meet our representative who will assist you about the program for the day. Take refreshment and get ready yourself for rapid tour of New Delhi, covering all famous historical monuments and major tourist destinations in available time. It includes three UNESCO world heritage site: Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun Tomb. Come back to the hotel; tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi - Bandhavgarh National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Delhi airport to board the flight for Jabalpur. You will be received by office executive at Jabalpur Dumna airport who will brief the tour program. Transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park in a luxury and comfortable vehicle via road. (200 Kms / 04 hrs journey) Check into the wildlife resort and freshen up yourself, take refreshment and get ready for evening park safari to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Come back to resort and enjoy dinner.

Day 3 : Excursion to Bandhavgarh National Park

We leave the resort just after the breakfast and head towards the dense jungle of National Park having rich historical past. Enjoy exciting wildlife viewing and nature watch in Bandhavgarh which is uniquely famous for 100 percent tiger sightings. It is so because the density of the tiger population in Bandhavgarh is one of the highest known in India. Apart from the majestic tigers, you can hope to see 250 species of birds and 22 different species of mammals. Taste the real adventure of jungle safari in a jeep or follow the steep trekking path on foot with trained naturalists. Come back to resort in late evening, tonight dinner and overnight stay at same resort.

Day 4 : Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park

Start your day with morning tea only and get ready for the last safari in Bandhavgarh forest. Leaving behind the magic of Bandhavgarh National Park we move to Kanha Kisli via road (255 Kms /5:30 hrs journey) / Mikki side (300 Kms/6:30 hrs journey). Kanha National park is situated in south-west of Bandhavgarh National Park in eastern sector of Satpura range. Arrive at your pre decided resort check into and enjoy dinner, overnight stay.

Day 5 : Tour to Kanha National Park

The day will start early with an appetizing breakfast and a game drive to Kanha National Park- a home to some rarely seen wildlife species like world famous Hard-ground Barahsinga. There is a strong probability to spot tigers when you make entry to the Tiger Reserve area. Apart from these majestic tigers Kanha is also famous for the healthy population of Leopards, Wild dog, Indian Gaur, blue bull, Four-horned Antelope, Spotted Deer and many more species of wild animals. After exciting wildlife viewings now prepare yourself for the most cosmopolitan outdoor activity that is bird watching. You will get an opportunity to see rarely seen species of bird like Crested Serpent Eagle and Green Munja. Come back to wildlife resort overnight stay as next morning we travel to Delhi.

Day 6 : Kanha National Park - Delhi

After having breakfast at hotel you will be transferred to airport and fly to the next destination i.e. Delhi. Return home with wonderful memory of the two of the most amazing and offbeat wildlife destinations.
